David has arrived on the Chiloe island in southern Chile. Chiloe is one of the largest islands (if not THE largest) in Chile. He is with my parents and my brother & family and they are helping a national pastor prepare for a youth training camp. This camp takes place every year and after several days of training they take these teens out to the surrounding smaller islands to do evangelism and children's clubs. David and my family will only be there till Saturday morning when they will head back up to the capital, Santiago. He will have a couple days to get last minute things done before he flies home on Monday night. I'm sure there will be many more updates coming within the next week so keep checking back.
As for the rest of the family... We're doing well, anxious to have Daddy home!! I'm reminding David to soak up the sunshine while he can 'cause the Sunday before he gets back is supposed to be FRIGID!! Our highs will be about 0 degrees and lows about -14 degrees! And that's not even the windchill temps!!! Who wouldn't want to live in the Midwest??...
