Bible Institute Kitchen Project Update
Follow the project from the beginning HERE and HERE.
The Temuco Bible Institute Kitchen/Bathroom project has been moving along these past two weeks. All of the floor and wall tile has been put down. Above: Daryl T. is explaining the progress and what is next to complete in the kitchen.

The current pantry. The kitchen now needs a stove, refrigerator, table, chairs, shelving, sinks, and cupboards (plus new plates, pots, silverware, and containers to be put into the cupboards).
The main focus has turned to the upstairs ladies bathroom, which also needed a complete makeover. New floor, walls, plumbing, lighting, cupboards, toilets, sinks, and shower....basically everything.
Continue to pray for the completion of this important project. Classes start in March, so that is our deadline to get the project done.

Kid's Camp 2009
During the week of Jan. 4-8, I drove Jordan, Ben, and Fernanda (a 9 yr. old girl from our church) to a week of Kid's Camp in Lican.
This was a first time camp experience for all three of them. Kristi and I can't believe that our boys are old enough to go to camp already!

Here is the group picture of all the campers, counselors, and staff from the week of Kid's Camp. I served on the kitchen staff by serving tables and washing tables.

Jordan and Ben had a great time despite still having to deal with not knowing Spanish. They learned some new words and made some new friends throughout the week.

Their counselor Abram did a great job helping our boys navigate the camp's activities and services despite the language barrier.

Fernanda's cabin
The last night there was a bonfire with a time of testimonies, singing, and a devotional. Please pray for spiritual fruit in the lives of the campers.

Vehicle: Answer to Prayer
After a very long and complicated dead-end struggle to release our vehicle from government paperwork, we are very thankful for answered prayer for the Lord's provision of a mini van that we purchased here in Chile. Our other mini van had to be shipped back to the States, but praise the Lord, it was sold immediately.
We were able to find and purchase a 2004 Dodge Grand Caravan in Santiago a couple of weeks ago. Thank you for your prayers during this past year. We are enjoying the vehicle and have already used it to take kids to summer bible camp this past week.
Come back again soon for more about Kid's Bible Camp!
