Good bye parties for Jenna
Tomorrow, our family piles into the van to drive to Santiago to send Jenna home to the States. She has been with us now for three months, and everyone here is going to miss her. This past week, there have been several "good bye" parties for Jenna. Here are some of the pictures from those parties.
Our once a month missionary prayer get together and meal doubled as a formal good bye from the GMSA missionary families. It was held at our house. We gave Jenna an opportunity to share what she has learned during her time in Chile.
We spent time in prayer for Jenna (her upcoming travels, her studies at Northland, her future ministry opportunities).
At church, Jenna has been helping with the children's SS class. The children and the teachers will miss Jenna when she is gone. Jenna helped Jordan, Ben, & Kaylee with understanding the lessons, since they are still learning Spanish. Ben was bummed when I told him that it was Jenna's last Sunday. He told me, "Now I won't understand a thing the teacher is teaching!". The children ARE learning Spanish, and they know more than they let on.
The whole church body planned a surprise good bye party after the evening service on Jenna's last Sunday. The people gave her several gifts and cards.

The church gave Jenna a nice wool sweater to keep her warm when she gets off the plane in GREEN BAY, WI !
Thanks Jenna for making an impact on the lives of the members of our church! They all want you to come back soon. We will continue to pray for your upcoming decisions and plans.
