Another year at the Temuco Bible Institute has come to a close. Last Thursday night, the BI held it's closing service.

Pastor Marcelo led the program and explained more about the ministry of the BI by showing a powerpoint with pictures from this past year.

During this past semester, I have been attending the music class on Thursday mornings. Gaby Beyer asked me to help with the choir throughout the semester in order to prepare for the year ending ceremony.

The music class was responsible for three musical numbers throughout the program.

One of the songs was an instrumental number. Each student had to play a musical instrument. I had to learn how to play the recorder.

Missionary Hartmut Beyer gave the challenge to the students from Scripture.

There were no graduates this year, BUT there were two students that received diplomas.

After the program, there was a time of fellowship and food. Jenna and Kristi helped serve the finger foods.

Lukas was a little trooper throughout the whole program. The program was SUPPOSED to start at 7:30 pm, but started at 8:00. Our family didn't get home till 11 pm! Welcome to a typical Chilean event. One of the things our family has had to adjust to is giving up on getting our kids to bed early, because something ALWAYS comes up.

Ben helping set the food table.
We look forward to what the Lord will do this coming year in the Bible Institute ministry. Just today, Daryl and I started preparing the BI kitchen for a major renovation (pictures will be posted in the near future).
Please pray for the Temuco Bible Institute ministry. We will continue to keep you posted...
