Christmas Program at Church

On Sunday, Dec. 20th, the 21 de Mayo church had their Christmas program.

The boys (in green and gold) played Bethlehem inn keepers and had a few lines (in Spanish) that told Mary and Joseph that they had no more room for them to stay.

Kaylee (in yellow) played one of the shepherds. She had no lines, but her antics along with the others were enough to keep the scene interesting (to say the least).

For the adult part of the program (during the evening service), there was a drama. Many of the adults played some role throughout the drama. In a nutshell, the drama was a news program where the two hosts (Patty and Julio) where investigating the true meaning of Christmas. Through live and video taped interviews of those in the Biblical account (ie Mary and Joseph) and modern day people, they developed that Christmas is really supposed to be about Christ and not materialism.

Above: The hosts were interviewing an eyewitness "live" from Bethlehem. Kristi played a small part in the program by playing a lady who was a foreigner and didn't enjoy Christmas because she was all alone. Ben, Jordan, and Kaylee watching the adult program during the evening service.
