On the drive back from dropping Jenna off at the airport, Jordan said, "Mommy, was Miss Jenna kinda like our governess?" (He's been watching The Sound of Music lately). Kaylee did mention the following day that she didn't really want Miss Jenna to leave already.

Final Goodbyes to Miss Jenna
Last Saturday evening, our family drove Jenna to the Santiago airport. These past three months have gone by so fast. Jenna flew back to Northland for finals week, before driving back to Indiana to spend Christmas with her family.
The kids were excited to go to the airport and say goodbye in person. I think they were also excited, because they were able to stay up way past their bedtime! The kids were sad, but no tears were shed. They are understanding more and more that a part of missionary life is saying goodbye.

During the time at the airport, Kaylee was stuck to Jenna like a sticker ;)

A large THANK YOU, Jenna, for being willing to spend three months with our crazy family. We appreciated your servant's heart. We will never forget you. The members of 21 de Mayo will never forget you. You impacted many people.
We will be praying for you and your next steps of life and ministry. You're always invited to come and visit again.
