Polly Wanta "Packer"

In between our weekend deputation trips, we attempt to continue to cross off things on our ever-growing list of things To Do. One of the biggest struggles is keeping the many piles separate. Below: The kids have been "helping" us pack by playing with their dress up clothes that need to be sorted and repacked for Chile.

The piles include:
-Stuff to be given away
-Stuff that should be packed for Chile
-Stuff that will go back to Texas this Fall
-Stuff that we will use in Dec. in MN, but not ship to Chile
-Stuff that will not go to Texas or Chile, but stay at the family cabin up north

Other line items include:
-Renewing driver's license
-Researching homeschool curriculum online
-Write thank you notes
-Logistics for our upcoming drive to Texas
-Communications
-Preparing for teaching an upcoming week of VBS

Please continue to pray for us as we wind down our summer travels and ministry to churches in MN and WI. We look forward to getting back down to our apartment in Texas. Living out of a suitcase for 2 months has it's challenges. David will be starting Spanish classes again on Aug. 12th.

Our goal is still to leave for Chile sometime in mid-Jan., and we are excited about starting our first term. There are many dynamics that still need to come together this Fall in order for this goal to become a reality.

-The shipment of our van
-Remaining support to be raised ($900/month)
-Finding 5 airline tickets
-Additional communication with our field director concerning our orientation time
-Some paperwork
-Our commissioning service

Wow! Sounds like you are staying busy! Hope all the packing, planning, adjustments, preparations, etc. go smoothly and you'll be able to be in Chile in Jan! That's so exciting.

God bless,
Ashley
