Marinette, WI - Men for Missions

We recently visited Twin City Baptist Church in Marinette, WI for a whole week. The church just recently partnered with us, and we wanted to spend some time getting to know the pastors and church families.

The first opportunity to connect with the people of the church was the Saturday morning men's missions breakfast. I was asked to speak to the men for 10 minutes and challenge them in their walk with the Lord and to continue to have a heart for missions. Pastor Sam and I arrived early to start making the "man sized" breakfast items. It brought back fond memories of working with Mr. B in the wee early mornings in the kitchen at Northland Baptist Bible College.

The time of fellowship was good around the tables as I was able to get to know the men of the church. What do they do? Do they have families? Children? What is God doing in your life?

After the breakfast, the men invited me to go into their tool room. Throughout the year, the men donate tools and money to stock the room with useful items for missionaries to use on deputation or on the field.

Through this men's ministry of TCBC, the Lord provide the following items for our ministry in Chile:

- A 2 ton Hydraulic vehicle jack (plus 2 Chrome plated stands)
-A Craftsman tool bag
-2 Carpenter pencils
-A set of line stretchers for masonry work
-A Stanley utility bar
-A Craftsman Rapid Reverse Air Ratchet attachment
-A magnet torpedo level
-A key chain level

A big thank you to the men of TCBC for your generosity and hospitality. May God continue to use you in your family and in the local church. We are thankful for God's provision of these items and in His perfect timing. We will think of you when we use these items in the ministry in Chile.

Come back again to read part 2 of our time in Marinette, WI
