2008 MBA Annual Meetings

David was able to attend the recent Minnesota Baptist Association (MBA) annual meetings in Willmar, MN. It was a great opportunity to represent our sending church as a messenger and spend time with 5 of our supporting pastors.

The theme was "The Resurgent Church"

Dr. Dan Brown was the keynote speaker for the meetings.
He preached a three part series on Matt. 16.

"Singing His Praise" ministry group from Pillsbury Baptist Bible College
provided the special music for the meetings.

New MBA pastors include: (L to R) Doug Roman - Elk River, MN; Shad Vork - Stillwater, MN; Steve Brower - St. Francis, MN; Matt Morrell - Plymouth, MN; Greg Linscott - Marshall, MN

Not pictured: Jeremy Stephens - Richfield, MN; Dan Lowe - Jordan, MN

During the two day meetings, David was able to talk with many pastors during the break times, at Culver's, and after the main sessions. Overall, the meetings were a great blessing and we will miss these opportunities for fellowship once we move to Chile.

Continue to pray for our family as we make and develop friendships and relationships with Upper Mid-West pastors and local churches. We desire to have strong partnerships with churches and individuals in order to see the Gospel and Biblical Truth effectively shared and fleshed out in the country of Chile.
