Since we didn't pack any furniture items, we needed to go to the campus warehouse and pick out items that we would need. A big thank you to Sharron, who is in charge of helping with the missionary housing needs.

Kaylee has taken all the adjustments the hardest. She has been more emotional since she has been on a different schedule of travel and in a new home.

Adjustments of walking down the road to do laundry instead of in our own house.

Hanging clothes on the line.

In one of our last tubs, a bottle of seasoned salt exploded and covered everything. We have had to wipe everything down before it can be used. In the process, we have thought of trying new products like...
-Salted Christmas candy
-Salted dental floss
-Salted breakfast bowls
-Salted Play-Do

Adjustments of a new home, new eating & sleeping arrangements.

David's new way of getting around campus (on Jordan's scooter)

In all these adjustments, we have been thankful for the Kunnari family (our Chile co-workers) who is also here at language school. They have been a help with tips, directions, unloading, and a verbal encouragement. Tonight we invited them over for a Chilean meal and enjoyed the evening full of conversation, screeching kids, and a time of prayer. We plan to get together on a weekly basis for prayer time for our GMSA co-workers on the field and those currently on deputation.

OK, I'll say this for the hundredth time...wish I was there with you, Kristi Lynn!
Praise the Lord your guys are at language school!
Random thoughts ... It is so neat that you can share this semester with future co-workers! We had our dining room table set up the same way, brings back memories. Kristi, you are the woman! It looks like you've done a great job with the apartment and getting right into the swing of things. (:
