September: Kid's Edition

So much has happened since we (the kids) last posted...

The biggest and most exciting thing that happened recently was our baby brother, Lukas Daniel, was born on Aug. 1st. Grandma Thompson flew over from Argentina to spend 9 days with us. We don't get to see her very often so we had a great time with her here at our house.

Here is a picture of our SS Class at the church in Lautaro. Can you find us in the picture? There are many kids our age at church and we are still getting to know all of the kid's names.

Jordan: There has been a "homeless" cat that has been staying around our backyard recently, and Ben, Kaylee, and I have been holding and petting the cat. We want to keep the cat, but mommy and daddy aren't quite sure about it. The cat meows at us everyday when we stick our heads out the windows.

Ben: The weather here in Temuco is getting warmer and warmer. We are starting to go to the city park more often to play. We meet some neighbor kids who live down the street from us. They speak some English, cause their daddy is from England. Mommy and daddy said that we are going to get together with them again soon to play and get to know them better.

Our neighbors have twin girls. They loved to look at little Lukas. The twins are younger than Kaylee.

Kaylee: Little Lukas is growing. He is getting harder to hold on my lap. Lukas is sleeping a lot, but cries sometimes.

I got to go on a special work trip to the Lican Bible Camp last week with daddy. I had so much fun with my cousins, especially Morgan. We played and played and played all day.

We did help daddy a little with the firewood. Somehow we got all dirty in the back of the pickup truck.

Oh, one last thing. Miss Jenna arrived last Sunday! We were SO excited to meet her at the airport. Daddy couldn't go cause he was on a trip, but mommy took us to watch Miss Jenna fly into the Temuco airport. We gave her a big tour of our house and showed her where she will be staying during her time with us. Miss Jenna took us to the park the other day. We all think that Miss Jenna is great!

That's it for now. Come back again for the next kid's edition in Oct.
