7. Pray for Refreshment
"Pray that I may...be refreshed in your company." Romans 15:32b
Missionaries deal with many of the same stresses you face in life, like overwhelming workloads, conflicts in relationships and financial uncertainties. Often, however, missionaries struggle with these issues alone, without the needed fellowship and support of other Christians. Living and working cross-culturally adds additional elements that can deplete their emotional, spiritual and physical vitality.
Pray that God will provide opportunities for our family to spend some needed times of fellowship with fellow co-workers and other Christians.
Pray that God will provide times of peace and relaxation to refresh our family in the ministry.
Pray that God will encourage our family with the knowledge that people back home care and pray for our emotional and spiritual well-being.
