"Dieciocho" Teen Retreat

To celebrate the "Dieciocho" (18th of Septemeber), our family and Jenna traveled south 2 hours to help out at the annual September teen retreat held at the Lican Bible Camp. In the next few posts, we will share pictures and commentary about what happened during the retreat.

As always, the Lican Bible Camp provided great views of the lake and surrounding mountains. A great setting for a Bible camp. The weather for the weekend was good overall. Mornings were very cool, but the sun came out for most of the retreat.

This year's theme was taken from Colossians 1:16 "Living in Christ, by Christ, and for Christ."


Pastor Ivan Reyes was the main speaker throughout the retreat. He had several preaching sessions per day. We were thankful for his willingness to serve in this way during the holiday weekend.


There were around 35 campers and 30 counselors/staff.
