May Missionary Prayer Gathering

This past Wednesday, we hosted the weekly missionary prayer get together at our house. After spending a couple days getting the house ready for the 16 people, we awaited everyone's arrival. Our field director and his wife were coming from Santiago for a special visit of all the southern missionaries before they take a short trip back up to the States for some mission meetings and family events.

Jordan and Ben waited by the stair window for over 30 minutes, waiting for their cousins to show up. They live two hours away and only get to see them once a month.

Each family brought something to share for the lunch. We ordered pizza. All six of the kids ate at the table while the adults ate around our living room.

We had a wonderful time of fellowship, laughter, stories, prayer, and business. Our co-workers have become our second family, since we are so far away from our real families.
