Round Robin Mission Conference (Oct. 20-24, 2007)

The night Kristi got home from the Ladies Heart Conference, we repacked the van and drove up to Wadena, MN to participate in the round robin missions conference for 5 Northwest Minnesota churches.

The theme for the conference was "Around the Corner, Around the World."

The participating churches were:

-Faith Baptist - Brainerd, MN
-Woodland Baptist - Fergus Falls, MN
-Grace Baptist Fellowship - Sartell, MN
-Faith Baptist - Sauk Center, MN
-Southbrook Baptist - Wadena, MN

The participating missionaries were:

- The Weirmans - Bangladesh
- Ron Washer - Togo, Africa
- Dr. Doug Combs - Partnership Missions
- David & Kristi Flinck - Chile

Southbrook Baptist Church was our host church for the whole week. We were able to stay in the same home during the week (which is a big help when traveling with small children).

Pastor Jake took me golfing at a nearby free golf course (if you could call it that). It was located just north of New York Mills, MN on a sheep farm. The short 9 hole course layout was in and among the sheep, fences, and trees on the farmer's large pasture. We both had a great time goofing off and talking about the ministry.

Monday night's meeting was held at Faith Baptist in Brainerd

Tuesday night - Woodland Baptist in Fergus Falls

Wednesday night at Grace Baptist Fellowship in Sartell

Our children had a great time getting to know Pastor Heppner's children - John, Nathan, & Isaac.

Since the church in Sauk Center didn't have a Thursday night meeting, we drove home on Wednesday night after the service in Sartell to sleep in our own beds and prepare to leave the next morning for Buffalo Gap, SD.

Come back again to hear about our great trip out West!

Thanks for praying for our family during these times on the road.
