On Friday, the kids played with Monica, Zach, Logan, Alana, & Jesse, while the parents caught up on life through conversation.

Matt and Alisha had arranged for someone to watch all 8 children so we could have a double date up in Rapid City. We went out to eat at a restaurant and enjoyed a "childless" eating environment (No kid's meals, no extra napkins, no potty interruptions, & strictly adult conversation).

Being the city-slicker that I am, Matt took me out to the city dump to shoot his guns. We threw some lead into the targets and had a great time. Truth be known, I was deaf in my left ear for four days.

Our time in Buffalo Gap was a opportunity to recharge our batteries before our next string of ministry opportunities in Colorado.
Come back to hear about our time in the Denver area.

South Dakota has it's beauty...just wanted to point that out!
How neat that you guys had that time together ... we are leaving in half an hour to go join Alisha and Matthew and their team for dinner! Yippee!
