Tonight, I (David) leave for my trip to Temuco. The following are several prayer items for the trip.
- Pray for safety in travel as Daryl and I drive the 8 hours or so down to Temuco. Daryl's van will be filled with boxes and items, as he and his wife are in the process of moving to Temuco as well.
- Pray for good fellowship and conversation in the van as we travel. This will be a great opportunity to learn from Daryl and ask him numerous questions.
- On Friday, pray that I would be able to view several houses, pick one, and enter into a rental contract.
- Pray that the price of the house would be reasonable, and that it will meet our family and ministry needs.
- On Sat., I will be attending a regional pastor's meeting. Pray for me as I meet many pastors for the first time and for an opportunity to chat more with Marcelo (the national pastor of the church our family will be attending and assisting during our time in Temuco).
- On Sunday, Daryl will be taking me to the church Marcelo is pastoring, as well as the San Ramon ministry for the afternoon meeting. San Ramon is the little community where Marcelo's church desires to plant a church in the coming years. Pray for me as I learn more about these works and meet many new people.
- Pray for Kristi and the kids as they will remain in Santiago during my trip to Temuco. Jodie K. will be staying with Kristi a few days to assist in various ways.
- Pray that we will be able to move to Temuco ASAP.
