A Chilean Wedding

Last Saturday night, our family was able to attend a Chilean wedding. Janell Thompson (a GMSA MK) and Isaac were married at a nearby church here in Santiago. We will be working with Janell's parents in Temuco during our orientation time.

The wedding started at 7:40 pm (which is pretty good since it was supposed to start at 6:30). The ceremony was beautiful and was a blessing to the family and those in attendance. Many did not get home until past midnight...typical Chilean wedding.

Isaac, the groom, anxiously looking down the aisle for his bride.

Daryl (the father of the bride) walking Janell down the aisle.

The new couple will be serving the Lord in the church in Coihaique, Chile, where Isaac is the pastor. We are thrilled to see another young couple serving in the national church here in Chile.

Looks like a lovely wedding. Great pictures!

That's a long day, how late did you stay?

So neat to see pictures since our church is their sending church.
