This past week I was able to personally chat with our field director about the status of our vehicle situation. He told me that the government departments at the port in Valparaíso are currently on strike, and thus there is NOTHING happening with our paperwork.
This December in Chile, there is a presidential election, so I'm sure that strike will be frequent and common, due to different groups desiring to put pressure on the different presidential candidates.
Please pray that the strike will end soon, so that our vehicle paperwork will be able to move forward.
