Sand Castle Days Part 2

Continued from part 1...

After being inspired by the professionals, the kids played in the sand and made stuff that probably wouldn't pass for sand castles per se, but they had fun.

The boys were more interested in digging
"holes to nowhere" (a little political humor).

The beach we usually go to on the island had been drastically changed due to the hurricane in late July. The sand was moved everywhere and the huge piles provided some great areas for exploration and play.

Jordan, Kaylee, & Ben

This is probably one of the last times we will be at the beach...maybe one more time, who knows. It was good to get away for a few hours and spend time together.

Thank you for your prayers and support for our family.
The end of the semester is approaching very quickly.
We are slowly starting the process of weeding through our stuff and mentally packing everything in the right suitcases and boxes. So much to do!

Please come back again to the blog...
we have some exciting news to share.
