First Baptist Church of Marshall, MN called a new pastor this last winter. Pastor Greg Linscott and his family accepted the call to serve. They previously had been serving in the pastorate in Maine. We felt it important to personally visit the church this summer and get to know Pastor Linscott in a better way.
The weekend was a blessing to our family as we were able to reconnect with families and individuals in the church and report back to them on what God has been doing in our family and ministry since we last visited them over a year ago. Our family also was able to personally hear of many prayer requests and ministry opportunities of the church. For example, the week following our visit, the church was having neighborhood children's club each day at the pastor's house.
Pastor's children and our children hit it off during the weekend and had a great time playing in the yard. Our children have the unique privilege of meeting many new people each week and we are thankful that they make friends quickly and enjoy others.
Please continue to pray for not only our family, but also for our supporting churches.
