Cottage Grove, WI

Our time at Cottage Grove Baptist Church was truly a blessing. The church was started several years ago (7, I think), and the Lord has been doing some wonderful things in the hearts and lives of the members and community. What a joy it was to hear about God's wonderful works.

The fellowship with the pastor and family was uplifting and encouraging. They made us feel so comfortable and at home. Several Maranatha Baptist Bible College students attend the church on weekends and it was great to see several people we had met last summer at Camp Chetek.

The evening service was devoted to the children's Christmas program. Our children were invited to participate in the program, much to their joy. Last year we missed our home church's program.

Here are some shots from the evening:

Making new friends

The younger children's portion of the program. The boys knew most of the songs. It was quite amusing to watch them "mouth" the words to songs that they didn't know.

We spent the night at the pastor's house and left for home on Monday late morning. Much packing, recording, and loading awaited us once we arrived home.

But before we started resumed packing, we spent time playing outside in the snow...more on that in the next post.

Thanks for your prayers for our family during these last weeks in MN.
